Dr. Sajid is Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematology/pathology. After earning his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, he completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He was then awarded a fellowship in surgical pathology and hematopathology at the Methodist Hospital in Houston. Prior to joining FCS, Dr. Sajid worked with the Cartesian Medical Group, Genopix Medical Laboratory, a Novartis company, and with Pathologists Biomedical Laboratories in Lewisville, Texas.

His extensive research experience has encompassed the formation of plaque in smooth muscle cells, injuries to blood vessels and hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma, an aggressive type of mature T-cell lymphoma in bone marrow.
