Gregoire Bergier, MD
Dr. Gregoire Bergier was drawn to oncology because of the exciting scientific discoveries that are providing a better understanding of cancer. He values the special relationships he is able to develop with his patients and finds fulfillment in the availability of new therapies, such as immunotherapy, to treat many forms of cancer so effectively.
Dr. Bergier attended medical school at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Hospital de Bellevue in Yverdon, Switzerland. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa and fellowships in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of South Florida H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa. He is Board-certified in Medical Oncology.
Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists in 2011, Dr. Bergier provided oncology care to patients in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
