Tien Do, MD

Dr. Tien Do is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. He provides care to patients at the Tallahassee Cancer Center.

Dr. Do received his medical degree with honors from the University of Medicine of Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam and completed internal medicine residency training at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, an affiliate of the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He was awarded a fellowship in hematology and oncology at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

After completing his medical training, Dr. Do served as an attending physician in hematology/oncology and as medical director of the clinical laboratory at Bon Secours Medical Oncology in Suffolk, VA. He was also a clinical assistant professor for internal medicine/medical oncology at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, VA. He joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2023.

Dr. Do gained extensive research experience as an associate with the Stem Cell Research Group of the Singapore Eye Research Institute and as a research officer in the Cellular and Molecular Research Division of the National Cancer Center of Singapore. He is a co-author of research abstracts that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at professional symposiums.

When not providing care to patients, Dr. Do enjoys spending quality time with his family.
