Janice F. Eakle, MD

Dr. Janice Eakle is originally from Kentucky. She was recruited to join Florida Cancer Specialists in 2003 after completing her fellowship training at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Eakle has a keen interest in the treatment of all solid tumors and has been very active as the Principle Investigator in numerous clinical trials for Florida Cancer Specialists. She has been published in a variety of prestigious peer reviewed journals. Dr. Eakle applies a cutting-edge comprehensive approach to each patient with thoughtful individualized care and attention.

She and her husband, Jim, have two children who are very active in sports and school activities. When not practicing oncology, Dr. Eakle enjoys running, travel, and arts.
