Actively involved in community service, Dr. Shah has shared his time as a volunteer with Bridgehouse Clinic and as a tutor and volunteer for at-risk youth with Anna’s Arts for Kids, both in New Orleans. His hobbies include following public policy and current events, watching soccer and football, playing tennis and traveling world-wide.

After receiving his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, Dr. Shah completed an internal medicine residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa and was named chief resident for quality and patient safety in the Internal Medicine department, one of several leadership roles. He was awarded a hematology and oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center (USF Health) and served as a co-investigator for numerous clinical research studies.
