Ana Van Der Wall, MD

Dr. Van Der Wall is an Internist and Oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Manatee County. She began her career as a research associate and worked for two prestigious research laboratories in Carlsbad and Irvine, CA, respectively. Her area of specialization focused on genetic research with breast cancer and tumors of unknown origin. She then continued her education and training in oncology/hematology and served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. She has given numerous scientific presentations on such topics as Pancreatic Cancer, Multiple Myeloma and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. She has also been published in the peer-reviewed journal Cancer Cell. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Van Der Wall enjoys spending time with her family and any activities that are ocean-related.
