Silvia A. Romero, MD
Dr. Silvia Romero values the moments she is able to share with each of her patients along their cancer journey, which is the reason she became an oncologist.
Board-certified in Medical Oncology, Dr. Romero attended medical school at Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru. She completed residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI and a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. She joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2005.
Dr. Romero has served as a sub-investigator on numerous Phase I, II and III clinical trials, and her work has been published in industry journals and presented at national and international meetings and symposiums.
