As a leader in medical oncology and hematology, we’re at the forefront of science and research to provide our patients with the best treatment possible close to home. We all need hope, and our expertise will help improve the quality of life for all patients during their journey.

The only community oncology practice in Florida with this designation, we provide a full range of cancer services with a demonstrated focus on delivering quality and value through patient-centered, coordinated care.

In the past 4 years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with Florida Cancer Specialists participation.

We are a strategic site of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute — one of the world’s leading clinical research organizations.

We have 35 Florida locations directly participating in late-phase clinical trials with early phase research being conducted within our Sarasota-based Drug Development Unit.

Recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO®) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award, we offer patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in the state of Florida.

Florida Cancer Specialists is an accredited member of the American College of Radiology.
Florida Cancer Specialists is participating in the Oncology Care Model (OCM), a new initiative by Medicare to deliver high quality, more coordinated care to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
