Supporting your psychological, mental and emotional health during and beyond cancer treatment is essential. People may find that a cancer diagnosis or unexpected health issue can increase feelings of stress, anxiety, depression or grief. Having supports in place or a licensed professional to talk with during this journey can help your physical and emotional well-being.

From the Heart of Cancer Survivors
In Honor of National Cancer Survivors Day
National Cancer Survivors Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in the month of June, this year it will be celebrated on: Sunday, June 7, 2026.
FCS cancer survivors shared meaningful words that reflect the challenges, emotions, and strengths experienced throughout their cancer journeys. These words were combined into a word cloud to honor their resilience and encourage others facing similar circumstances. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, or living as a survivor, may these shared experiences remind you that you are not alone. Let these words inspire hope, strength, courage, and perseverance for the days ahead.
More information about National Cancer Survivors Day can be found on their website at: https://ncsd.org/
