Skip Boykin

As the Vice President of Enterprise Applications, Skip will lead a team of experts to ensure that FCS physicians, patients, and staff benefit from existing technical platforms and assist in leading mission-critical efforts to plan and construct the future capabilities of FCS. A key member of the Senior IT Leadership team, Skip will drive a variety of technology projects across all settings to enable our digital transformation strategies, support our clinicians more effectively, and deliver the expertise needed to support business leaders.
A known digital transformation leader, Skip has extensive expertise in performance and financial profitability improvement strategies through optimized technology solutions. Prior to joining FCS in 2023, Skip held several progressive leadership roles at Pediatrix, a large physician medical group, most recently serving as Vice President, IT Business Systems & Platform Operations. In this role, he specialized in the development and deployment of technology-based solutions to support the organizations’ most critical departments including finance, accounting, revenue cycle management, and human resources. By creating cross-functional alignment, Skip was able to influence and shift the corporate culture through increased accountability, teamwork and partner relationships.

Throughout his career, Skip has carried leadership roles in business and IT transformation, and enterprise-level optimization. He carries a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Skip received his undergraduate degree in Accounting & Information Systems Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore In his spare time, Skip can be found on the golf course or racing around the auto track. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Arlene, and their two daughters.
