When Mark Henning Anderson was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2013 and had failed to respond to a couple standard treatments, he decided it was time to try a clinical trial treatment. Under the care of the Director of Drug Development and medical oncologist/hematologist Manish R. Patel, MD, Mark began to respond well to a treatment that later went on to become FDA-approved.

Ric and his wife were excited to retire early and spend their retirement traveling and exploring the world.
