Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Breaks Ground for New Cancer Center in Bradenton

Fort Myers, Fla., Feb. 2, 2021 — Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) broke ground recently for a new cancer center in Manatee County. The one-story building, located at 3630 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL, will provide expanded treatment space for patients, with 18 exam rooms, 50 infusion chairs and on-site imaging, laboratory, pharmacy and care management services. Scheduled to open in November 2021, the 20,250-square-foot building will replace the two existing FCS clinic locations in Manatee County.

The Honorable Gene Brown, Mayor of Manatee County, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.

“My colleagues and I are proud to be part of this community,” said FCS medical oncologist Brian T. Berry, MD, PhD. “We work here and we also live here with our families. Our entire team is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and their caregivers, and to ensure that each of them can achieve the very best outcome.”

FCS medical oncologists Juan Castro, MD, Koteshwar Telukuntla, MD and Ana Van Der Wall, MD will also provide care at the new location.
