Yasir Khan, MD

Yasir Khan, MD is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (FCS). He provides care to patients in Lee County.

During his first volunteer clinical experience at an infusion center prior to medical school, Dr. Khan experienced first-hand the impact of cancer on patients and the opportunity for physicians to contribute to their healing and overall well-being. His goal is to create a respectful, caring and friendly relationship with his patients while providing the highest quality care.

Dr. Khan has a special interest in malignant hematology, particularly lymphomas and leukemia. He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi City, Pakistan. He was named chief resident during his internal medicine residency training at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania and completed a fellowship in oncology/hematology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining FCS in 2024, Dr. Khan provided care to patients at Southern Oncology Hematology Associates in Vineland, New Jersey.
