Janet McNaughton, MD
PathologistDr. Janet McNaughton is an anatomic pathologist, clinical pathologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Lee County. After graduating from Florida State University College of Medicine, Dr. Janet McNaughton finished her Pathology residency at Orlando Health where she was the recipient of the Florida Society of Pathologists Resident Research Award. Subsequently, Dr. McNaughton completed a Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University in Stanford, CA, followed by a Hematopathology Fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.
In 2015, Dr. McNaughton returned to Florida for fellowship training in Cytopathology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists in 2017, Dr. McNaughton practiced at Professional Pathology Services in Columbia, SC. In her leisure time, Dr. McNaughton enjoys playing with her dog, running, biking, traveling and reading.
