Ram Tummala, MD
Dr. Ram Tummala has a long and distinguished career in a community-based practice. Before going into private practice, Dr. Tummala received his training at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. He completed three years of Hematology and Oncology fellowship and an additional year of training in the bone marrow transplant fellowship program. He has been in practice since 1995 and is actively involved with cancer care in Lake County.
Dr. Tummala is passionate about patient care and is considered a patient advocate by his colleagues. A member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Society of Hematology (ASH), Dr. Tummala has presented abstracts at the annual meetings of the International Society for Experimental Hematology and has contributed content to the medical textbook Reasoning and Decision Making in Oncology.
