Aamir Hussain, MD

Dr. Hussain is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Lake County, Florida.

Dr. Hussain has provided personalized oncology care in outpatient, inpatient, and academic settings for more than 12 years. His extensive experience is complemented by a strong research background and his work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at clinical symposiums. Dr. Hussain has special interest in prostate cancer, breast cancer and lymphoma.

He has been the recipient of multiple recognitions for academic and clinical leadership. Dr. Hussain completed medical school at Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. He was named as chief resident during his internal medicine residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo and as chief fellow during his hematology / oncology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
