
Kimberly Vigal, MHA
Vice President, Clinical ResearchAs Vice President, Clinical Research for the management services organization to Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), Kimberly provides executive leadership and administrative oversight of clinical research and designated ancillary departments. In this role, she leads a program of more than 100 clinical trials across 30+ locations, driving strategic initiatives that align with FCS’s mission, vision, and values, fostering collaboration among physicians, researchers, and executive leadership to advance high-quality, cost-effective, and integrated oncology research and patient care.
Kimberly joined FCS in July 2024 as Director of Clinical Research before being promoted to Vice President. With more than a decade of experience in clinical research operations, she brings a proven track record of uniting teams under a common strategy. Prior to FCS, she served as Senior Manager of Functional Service Provider / Operations at LabConnect, where she led teams overseeing scientific project managers, data managers, and biospecimen operations for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. She also held leadership roles at InterVenn Biosciences, directing global clinical operations and alliance management, where she built collaborations with key opinion leaders, regulatory agencies, and industry partners to expand research networks and accelerate study execution. Earlier in her career, Kimberly supported research growth at the University of Florida and Mayo Clinic Florida, where she implemented programs that enhanced efficiency, expanded clinical trial portfolios, and secured millions in funding.
Kimberly holds a master of healthcare administration from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor of arts in business administration from Columbia College. She is a Certified Alliance Management professional (CA-AM) through the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.
