Heather Miller, MD

Dr. Miller is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pasco and Hillsborough counties.

Dr. Miller provides personalized care for women with gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, uterine, vulvar and vaginal cancers, as well as women with complex benign gynecologic pathology. She specializes in minimally-invasive surgery, including traditional laparoscopic surgery as well as da Vinci robotic surgery.

Actively involved in clinical trial research that is fostering advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, she is lead author of abstracts published in prestigious clinical journals and presented at numerous symposiums.

Dr. Miller was the recipient of numerous academic honors throughout her medical training. She completed her medical doctorate at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national honor society that recognizes medical students, residents, faculty and alumni who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, professionalism and service to the community. During her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, she was recognized as chief resident and gynecologic resident of the year. Dr. Miller also completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She is board-certified by the American Board of  Obstetrics and Gynecology and board-eligible for the subspecialty of gynecologic oncology.

Prior to joining FCS in 2025, Dr. Miller was a gynecologic oncologist provider with Women’s Care Florida.

She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
