The New York Times repeat best-selling author Kristin Harmel is no stranger to telling stories. After her recent breast cancer diagnosis, she made the decision to share the news publicly. Her own personal story and message stressing the importance of regular screenings made just as large of an impact as one of her best-selling novels. Dr. Shroff is an oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Winter Park. She has received numerous awards, including the Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Recognition and Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors. Dr. Shroff has strong clinical interests in women’s healthcare, with a particular focus in breast cancer and breast cancer trials.
