Dawn Hackney

Dawn Hackney oversees annual budgeting and strategic financial planning processes across the statewide practice.

Throughout her career, Dawn has held executive leadership roles in a variety of industries, including healthcare and clinical trials research. Prior to joining FCS in 2024, she served as chief financial officer of American Vascular Associates in Palm Harbor.

Dawn was featured in 2020 among Women of Influence in Tampa Bay Business Journal and Wealth Magazine. In 2016, she was recognized as CFO of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, while serving in that role for Meridian Research, a privately held clinical trials research company. As CEO and founder of the first certified women-owned CBD manufacturing company to be licensed by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture, Dawn demonstrated her skill and holistic approach to driving company success and competitive growth through strategic financial and business strategy.

Dawn holds a bachelor’s in accounting and management from the University of South Florida.

Actively involved in community and professional activities, Dawn is past treasurer of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association board of directors and freeFall Theatre Company in St. Petersburg. She also mentors college students majoring in finance.
