Tammy Lamb, MD

Tammy Lamb, MD is a board-certified radiology physician with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, specializing in diagnostic radiology with a focus on body and women’s imaging.

Dr. Lamb received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. After completing residency training in diagnostic radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York, she was awarded a fellowship in breast imaging and intervention at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Lamb has held clinical and administrative positions in Virginia and Washington, DC prior to joining FCS in 2022. These include appointments as Vice President and Head of Breast Imaging for the Association of Alexandria Radiologists, and as a member of the executive and local steering committee and the quality and assurance committee of the Inova Hospital System Breast Care Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. Additionally, Dr. Lamb was selected as a member for the Senate Appointments, Salaries and Promotion Policy Committee at George Washington University Medical Center.

She is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiology Society of North America and the Society of Breast Imaging.
