Tony Kurian, MD
Tony Kurian, MD, is an oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Sarasota County. Dr. Kurian received his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. While completing his Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, he was named as Chief Resident and served as a clinical preceptor for first and second-year medical students. Dr. Kurian completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology with a specialty in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy at USF Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where he was named as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Kurian is actively involved in clinical research and his work has been published and presented at peer reviewed symposiums and other educational forums. Passionate about community service, he has participated in several medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and volunteered his time to assist underserved adults as well as homeless youth.
He joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2022.
