Levester Jones

Levester has over 25 years of experience in radiology and radiology management. He began his career as a Senior Technologist at the Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL in 1988. In 1990, he joined the staff of Florida Hospital Fletcher Campus in Tampa, serving as Senior Nuclear Technologist and chair of the hospital’s Radiology Communication Committee. He subsequently moved to the Florida Hospital Carrollwood Campus and was promoted to Operations Manager for the Department of Radiology. Immediately prior to joining FCS in 2009, he was Director of Operations at West Florida PET Services.

Levester holds an Associate of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Leadership & Administration from National-Louis University, Tampa. His contributions in radiology have been recognized with progressive promotions at Florida Cancer Specialists to Radiology Lead, Radiology Manager and, in 2011, Director of Radiology. In addition to his job responsibilities at FCS, Levester provides leadership in professional radiological association, including serving as President of the Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologists. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter and the family’s “big ole” horse, Coty.
