Tadeu Ambros, MD
Dr. Tadeu Ambros is a medical oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Lee County.
After earning his medical degree from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, Dr. Ambros completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was then awarded a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to joining FCS, he provided care to patients at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota.
Board-certified in oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Ambros has a strong interest in research with a focus on HER 2-breast cancer. He has served on various research committees and his work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Ambros is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
