Sandeep K. Thaper, MD
Dr. Sandeep Thaper was born and raised in New Delhi, India. After earning his Medical Degree from University of Delhi, New Delhi, India, he came to the United States to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Helene Fuld Medical Center, UMDNJ, New Jersey. Dr. Thaper then went on to do his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Long Island College Hospital, SUNY in Brooklyn, New York. He has been in medical practice for 14 years and now resides in Central Florida with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Thaper sees patients in three hospitals and held positions of Vice Chief, Chief of Oncology, Vice Chief and Chief of Medical Staff at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. He enjoys giving back to the community through different organizations like the American Cancer Society through their “Relay for Life” program.
