Roderick Paras, MD

Dr. Paras is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Central Florida.

Dr. Paras has an extensive background in oncology and hematology with a strong focus on providing cancer care in a wide range of healthcare settings. He has been actively involved in clinical research and served as a sub-investigator for clinical trials during his tenure within The US Oncology network in Ocala, Florida.

After completing his medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Dr. Paras completed internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center and a fellowship in medical oncology at Medical College of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. Dr. Paras served as a volunteer physician on numerous medical missions in the Philippines.

His hobbies include traveling, chess and outdoor activities.
