Ralph Gousse, MD
Dr. Gousse is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Lake and Seminole counties.
Dr. Gousse received his medical degree from Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He completed residency training and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Focused on evidence-based medicine, Dr. Gousse remains open to discussing patients’ questions about alternative therapies, particularly to ease treatment side effects. He encourages patients to share all medications and treatments they are using so they can be safely monitored.
Dr Gousse has been actively involved in humanitarian work in his home country of Haiti for more than 20 years. He is president and co-founder of Haiti Help Med Plus, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to improve the quality of life of the people of Haiti. Dr. Gousse makes regular mission trips to Haiti and often brings along many volunteers.
