Rakesh Rohatgi, MD
Dr. Rakesh Rohatgi has been serving patients in Sumter and Marion Counties for over 20 years and has always worked closely with local physicians, major teaching hospitals and other facilities to create a treatment plan that is the best for each and every patient; his friendly and approachable demeanor puts patients at ease. Dr. Rohatgi is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including West Marion Community Hospital, Ocala Regional Medical Center, Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Munroe Regional Medical Center and Villages Regional Hospital. Prior to joining the FCS family, he managed solo practices in Ocala and The Villages for two decades, treating all types of cancers, including blood disorders and solid tumor cancers. He is an avid reader and fitness enthusiast, and enjoys tennis and cycling. Dr. Rohatgi and his wife have twin sons, who are following in their father’s footsteps by pursuing a career in medicine.
