Raju Vaddepally, MD

Dr. Vaddepally is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (FCS) in Naples, Florida.

Dr. Vaddepally is committed to providing optimal health care to his patients with compassion, using a holistic approach personalized to each individuals’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs encompassing state of the art, precision-based cancer diagnostic and treatment modalities.

Actively involved in community-based cancer research, Dr. Vaddepally has a specialized focus on thoracic, head and neck, and skin cancers. He has served as principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous clinical trials, many related to advancing the treatment of lung cancers. He has authored several research abstracts published in clinical journals and presented at professional symposiums.

After receiving his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, Dr. Vaddepally completed internal medicine residency training at Trinity Health Ann Harbor Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan and a fellowship in oncology/hematology at Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit.
Prior to joining FCS in 2025, Dr. Vaddepally served as research medical director at Lee Health in Fort Myers, Florida and as a staff physician and director of the lung cancer screening program for Yuma Regional Cancer Center in Yuma, Arizona.
He has been actively involved in the training of oncology physicians, having served on the teaching faculty at Lee Health and the Yuma Regional Medical Center family medicine residency program, among others.
Dr. Vaddepally is committed to an active lifestyle and enjoys biking, tennis, cricket, racquet ball and badminton.
