Mehnaz Junagadhwalla, MD
Dr. Mehnaz Junagadhwalla is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Sarasota County.
While rapid and continuous new information and advancements are what first drew Dr. Junagadhwalla to the field of medical oncology, the special relationships she forms with each patient are her greatest reward. Dr. Junagadhwalla is pleased to provide care to patients in Venice, where she spent her childhood, and offer the newest treatments and clinical trial opportunities that may not be available elsewhere in the community.
Dr. Junagadhwalla received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed internal medicine residency training and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the State University of New York (SUNY) Medical University in Syracuse. Prior to joining FCS in 2008, she served as clinical professor at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse.
