Dr. Viteri Malone is an oncology specialist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. She treats patients in both Venice and Englewood.
Mariuxi Viteri Malone, MD earned her medical degree from the Universidad de Cuenca School of Medicine in Cuenca, Ecuador, where she was named Valedictorian for having the highest class ranking. During her residency training in Internal Medicine at the MetroWest Medical Center of Tufts University School of Medicine in Framingham, MA, she was named as Best Teaching Resident. Dr. Viteri Malone completed a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Boston University’s Boston Medical Center and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
Throughout her training, Dr. Viteri Malone gained extensive experience in clinical research, with a focus on providing and improving cancer care for older adults. She currently serves as a member of the Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG) and as a committee member of CARG’s Advocacy Group.
Dr. Viteri Malone is deeply committed to volunteer service and enjoys volunteering at health fairs to foster good health habits among children and adults.
She joined Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in 2022.
