Lalit Aneja, MD
Dr. Aneja is a medical oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Charlotte and Sarasota counties.
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Aneja completed his residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY, which is a major teaching affiliate of New York University. There, Dr. Aneja served as chief fellow and as a clinical instructor for internal medicine for third and fourth-year medical students, and he supervised interns. He has served as a sub-investigator for several clinical trials and, in 2015, was published in the prestigious Journal of Clinical Oncology. He is board-certified in medical oncology/hematology and internal medicine.
In his personal life, Dr. Aneja enjoys travel and spending time with his wife and daughter. He is fluent in three languages.
