Jorge Hurtado-Cordovi, MD
Jorge Hurtado-Cordovi, MD is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (FCS) in Indian River county. Dr. Hurtado-Cordovi provides treatment for all forms of cancer and blood disorders, with a special interest in colorectal cancers. He has been active in clinical trial research and is co-author of several published, peer-reviewed articles.
Dr. Hurtado-Cordovi received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. He completed internal medicine residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and a fellowship in oncology/hematology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
He joined FCS in 2024. Previously, he served as an attending hematology/oncology physician at several hospital systems along Florida’s east coast.
