Jeffrey A. Bubis, DO, FACOI, FACP

Dr. Bubis, DO is an oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Duval, Clay and St. Johns Counties.

After receiving his medical degree and completing an Internship and Residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he also served as Chief Resident, Dr. Jeffrey Bubis was awarded a fellowship in Hematology / Medical Oncology at the highly-respected Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, NH.

Dr. Bubis has been in private practice in the Jacksonville, FL area since 2005 and has served as an independent medical reviewer for various national review organizations, including industry leaders IMEDECS and HMS/Permedion.  A past board member of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), he is currently a lecturer at the Orange Park Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency program.  Dr. Bubis has over 10 years of clinical research experience and is a sought-after speaker at statewide medical conferences.  He is the author of a chapter in the medical textbook Multidisciplinary Treatment and Management of Cancer in the Elderly; his research has been published in such prestigious journals as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and he has had several poster presentations accepted by the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, an internationally-renown scientific symposium for exchange among scientists and clinicians.
