Faiza Manji, MD

Faiza Manji, MD is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Hillsborough County.

Dr. Manji’s passion for oncology began in high school when she worked in a doctor’s office and  observed patients facing breast cancer diagnoses. Later on, personal experiences with loved ones battling cancer made her realize the importance of clinical trials and the vital role that community and positivity play in a patient’s journey. These experiences underscored for her the need for more specialists in hematology and oncology and solidified her decision to pursue this specialty.

Dr. Manji is deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and providing the same compassion and support that inspired her early in her career.

After receiving her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Manji completed internal medicine residency training at Saint Michael’s Medical Center (Seton Hall University) in Newark, New Jersey. She was awarded a hematology and oncology fellowship at New York Medical College/St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, and also completed bone marrow transplant rotations at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Manji conducts teaching rounds with internal medicine residents at Brandon Regional Hospital. She also has extensive experience as a hospitalist, managing the treatment of serious, chronic and complex illnesses for adults who are hospitalized.
