Bradford Perez, MD

Bradford Perez, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Pasco County. He provides care to patients at the FCS Trinity Cancer Center.

Dr. Perez completed medical school and residency training at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He distinguished himself as chief resident during his Radiation Oncology residency at the Duke Cancer Institute and was selected for participation in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society by demonstrating a deep commitment to research integrity in his field.

In the realm of clinical research, Dr. Perez has been a principal and co-principal investigator in numerous studies focusing on various types of cancer and treatment methods. His contributions have been featured in respected academic journals and at many professional meetings and symposiums. He has also authored several oncology book chapters.

Dr. Perez continues to make significant contributions to the field. Prior to joining FCS in 2023, he was an associate member in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Immunology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also held a joint appointment as an associate professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and he continues to dedicate himself to mentoring the next generation of oncology physicians.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Perez is actively involved in his community. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Out of Zion and Hope4ATRT, which supports a creative arts program for children with cancer or other special needs as well as research to improve outcomes for children with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT). Additionally, he enjoys accompanying his children to their sporting events, traveling with his family and volunteering as a USA Swimming Official while reflecting on his past as a Tampa Jesuit High School and Georgetown University Division I NCAA college swimmer.

Dr. Perez values working as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team to improve outcomes for patients with cancer in the Pasco County and West Central Florida region.
