Alexander Philipovskiy, MD, PhD
Dr. Philipovskiy is an Oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Seminole County. After receiving his medical degree with honors, Alexander Philipovskiy, MD, PhD earned a doctorate in Medical Immunology and Microbiology from Odessa State Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine, where he also received residency training in Internal Medicine. He completed a second residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College in New York, New York and a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.
During his clinical and fellowship training, he gained extensive research experience. Dr. Philipovskiy served as a clinical observer at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, at George Washington Medical Center in Washington, DC and at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His work has been presented at professional symposiums and published in numerous peer-reviewed publications. He currently serves as Editor of the Journal of Investigative Medicine.
Prior to joining Florida Cancer Specialists in 2022, Dr. Philipovskiy served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso and Lubbock.
