Matthew A. Fink, MD

Dr. Fink is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Hillsborough County.

He always knew he wanted to be a doctor and became interested in oncology while in high school, when both his parents became ill with cancer almost simultaneously. This personal experience has enhanced his ability to relate to his patients and their family members throughout their cancer journey.

Dr. Fink received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed his internship at North Shore University Hospital/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital-New York University. During his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at New York University he was named Fellow of the Year. 

Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Fink has served as a sub-investigator on numerous Phase 1, 2 and 3 clinical trials for various forms of cancer.

He joined FCS in 2009 and is currently serving as Compensation and Finance Committee co-chair on the FCS Executive Board. He previously provided care to patients at Gulf Coast Oncology Associates and Hematology Oncology Specialists of Tampa.
