Jeffrey A. Bubis, DO, FACOI, FACP
Dr. Bubis is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) in Duval, Clay and St. Johns counties.
Dr. Bubis has practiced in the Jacksonville, Florida area since 2005. After receiving his medical degree and residency training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, where he also served as chief resident, Dr. Bubis completed his fellowship in hematology / medical oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
With more than 20 years of clinical research experience, Dr. Bubis is a sought-after speaker at statewide medical conferences. His research has been published in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and he has had several poster presentations accepted by the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, an internationally renowned scientific symposium for exchange among scientists and clinicians. He is the author of a chapter in the medical textbook, Multidisciplinary Treatment and Management of Cancer in the Elderly.
He has served as an independent medical reviewer for many national review organizations, including industry leaders IMEDECS/Acentra, MRIOA and Gainwell. A past board member of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), Dr. Bubis is currently a lecturer at the Orange Park Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency program.
Dr. Bubis serves as a member of the FCS Quality Committee.
