Daniel L. Spitz, MD, FACP
Dr. Daniel Spitz is an oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Palm Beach county. He believes that as an oncologist he is able to have a unique impact because there is always something he can do to help patients and their families during one of the most trying times in their lives.
An active participant in clinical research, his work has been widely published and presented in the professional community and is contributing to the many new and exciting therapies and techniques that are improving cancer diagnosis and treatment for his patients close to home.
Dr. Spitz received his medical doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston. He was named as Chief Medical Resident at Downstate Medical Center Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and completed clinical fellowships in Hematology and Oncology and Immunology at New York University Medical Center.
