Christopher A. Sequeira, MD

Dr. Sequeira is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada followed by medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. He then completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville and stayed on staff as an assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. After completing a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Illinois Chicago Cancer Center he joined Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in 2017 providing care to patients in Orlando and Winter Park.

Dr. Sequeira has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored the book chapter “Immunology of the Lymphomas” in Neoplastic Diseases of the Blood. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Society of Hematology (ASH).
