Marcia Schmidt, MD Joins Statewide Practice in Palm Beach County
Fort Myers, Fla., September 29, 2025 — Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to welcome board-certified gynecologic oncologist Marcia Schmidt, MD to its team of cancer experts in Palm Beach County. She is providing specialized care to women with gynecologic and breast cancers at FCS locations in Delray Beach, 5130 Linton Blvd., Ste. B4, Delray Beach, FL 33484 and Good Samaritan Flagler, 1309 N. Flagler Dr., West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
FCS Medical Director of Gynecologic Oncology Jessica Stine, MD said, “With advanced specialized training in gynecologic oncology, breast health, minimally-invasive surgery, and genetic cancer risk assessment, Dr. Schmidt exemplifies the highest standards of expertise and skill in women’s cancer care.”

After completing medical school at Upstate Medical University at the State University of New York in Syracuse and a residency obstetrics and gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital, Dr. Schmidt was awarded fellowships in pelvic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, in gynecologic oncology at the University of South Florida Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, and in breast surgery at Brown University Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She has completed an intensive course in genetic cancer risk assessment through the City of Hope Clinical Cancer Genomics Division.
