FCS Welcomes Daniel Ezekwudo, MD, PhD

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Welcomes Board-certified Hematologist & Medical Oncologist Daniel Ezekwudo, MD, PhD To Charlotte County
Fort Myers, Fla., October 1, 2025 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) has expanded its team of clinical experts in Charlotte County, with the addition of board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist Daniel Ezekwudo, MD, PhD. He is providing personalized care for all forms of cancer, with a special focus on thoracic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and breast cancers, at the FCS North Port Cancer Center at 1390, Grand Venture Dr., North Port, FL 34286 and the FCS Port Charlotte clinic at 22395 Edgewater Dr., Port Charlotte, FL, 33980.

After receiving his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, Dr. Ezekwudo completed internal medicine residency training at Central Michigan University in Saginaw and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he received several awards for scholarly activity. Dr. Ezekwudo pursued his medical training after earning a doctorate in pharmacology at Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta.
Previously, he served as program director of the hematology and oncology fellowship program for the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
