Sireesha Datla, MD Joins FCS
Fort Myers, Fla., August 28, 2023 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to welcome hematologist and medical oncologist Sireesha Datla, MD to the statewide practice. She is providing care to patients at the FCS St. Anthony’s clinic, 1201 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, Florida 33705 and FCS Pasadena clinic, 1615 Pasadena Avenue S., Suite 400, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.

She has a wide range of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of wide variety of oncological conditions and blood disorders. Dr. Datla has done extensive research and has a special interest in breast, lung, colorectal and hematological conditions. Her unique experience in sickle cell and transfusion medicine, in addition to oncology care, will be of great benefit to our patients.”
After receiving her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College, India, Dr. Datla completed internal medicine residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. She was awarded fellowships in transfusion medicine and blood banking through a combined program at the American Red Cross, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Case Western University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and fellowships in sickle cell disease, hematology and oncology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to joining FCS in 2023, Dr. Datla held a position as Clinical Associate at Duke University Cancer Network, North Carolina and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Datla has done extensive research and has a special interest in hematological conditions. She has been published in numerous medical journals.
