Medical Oncologist Susanna Gaikazian, MD joins Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute
Fort Myers, Fla., July 18, 2022 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) welcomes Board-certified medical oncologist Susanna Gaikazian, MD to the statewide practice. She is providing care to patients at the FCS Estero clinic at 8440 Murano Del Lago Drive, Estero, Florida 34135 and at the FCS Fort Myers Colonial clinic at 8931 Colonial Center Drive, Suite 300, Fort Myers, Florida 33905.
Dr. Gaikazian has more than ten years of oncology experience with a special focus on treating a wide variety of solid tissue tumors, hematologic malignancies and benign hematologic disorders. Active in clinical research, her abstracts have been widely published and she is a frequent presenter at professional forums including ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium (ASCO-GU), the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting (ASH) and Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine. Dr. Gaikazian received her medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University in Yerevan, Armenia. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.
