FCS President & Managing Physician Lucio N. Gordan, MD said “As we have for more than 40 years, we continue to keep our finger on the pulse of community-based oncology and drive meaningful change to enhance patient care and the patient experience.”

During the three-day conference, FCS will also sponsor a special networking event for oncology fellows. “Supporting the next generation of oncologists is central to our mission of advancing cancer care at every level. By engaging with fellows early in their careers, we are fostering meaningful mentorship, sharing valuable insights from the perspective of community oncology providers, and shaping a future workforce that is both highly skilled and deeply committed to patient-centered care,” said Dr. Gordan. “Investing in the development of oncology fellows not only strengthens the future of the field, but also ensures that innovative, compassionate care remains a cornerstone of community oncology for years to come.”
The Community Oncology Alliance is dedicated to ensuring that cancer patients have access to quality, affordable and accessible cancer care in their local communities.
