Pathology Accreditations
Our state-of-the-art clinical labs, equipped with the most advanced technologies, are accredited and held to the strictest laboratory operations and safety standards.
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has been awarded accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for excellence in services provided, ensuring the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients inclusive of laboratory records, quality control, staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management.
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has met all the criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA Inc., a leading national laboratory accreditor, whose program and standards enable clinical laboratories and staff to meet United States Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and other regulatory requirements.
Through a mentoring approach using education to improve quality and patient safety, accreditation is given to laboratories that apply the highest standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey. Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has earned COLA Inc. accreditation to provide quality service to its patients.
Radiology Accreditation
The American College of Radiology (ACR) seal of accreditation represents the highest level of quality and patient safety. This comprehensive accreditation by the nation’s oldest and most widely accepted radiology accrediting body acknowledges the skill of our diagnostic providers, technologists and support staff who are dedicated to ensuring that our patients receive the most advanced treatments delivered with precision. FCS demonstrated that it meets and exceeds specific ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards following a peer-review evaluation conducted by medical experts in the field.
Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is dedicated to ensuring that our patients have access to the most advanced technologies available. Ten of our PET/CT Scanners have been upgraded to Siemens “next generation” technology.
Radiation Oncology Accreditation
FCS provides a comprehensive range of radiation oncology therapies at clinic locations throughout Florida. Each location is equipped with advanced, state-of-the-art technologies that ensure the delivery of radiation with maximum effectiveness and patient safety.

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute earned a three-year accreditation for Radiation Oncology Services. The prestigious ACR Gold-seal designation is awarded to all FCS sites of service.
Rx-To-Go Accreditations
Rx To Go, our medically integrated pharmacy, is accredited by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) with Oncology Distinction. It is dually accredited by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) for specialty pharmacy. FCS is also NABP accredited for digital pharmacy practice. Rx To Go has also been recognized by NCODA as a Center of Excellence and has received accreditation from URAC for Specialty Pharmacy.

The National Association of Board of Pharmacy® (NABP) Digital Pharmacy Accreditation acknowledges Rx To Go’s commitment to safe pharmacy practices over the internet. Rx To Go participated in a thorough review process and on-site survey, which included verification of the pharmacy’s online presence and medication-related websites, licensure review and compliance with NABP criteria for legitimate online pharmacy practice.
The National Association of Board of Pharmacy® (NABP) Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation recognizes Rx To Go for providing an advanced level of specialty pharmacy services and disease management for patients taking medications that require special handling, storage and distribution requirements. This voluntary accreditation process required Rx To Go to demonstrate compliance to a comprehensive set of practice standards and evaluated the pharmacy on practice management, patient care services and quality improvement.
