Andres Bhatia, MD

Dr. Bhatia is a board-certified oncologist and hematologist for Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute in Alachua County. Dr. Bhatia was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and received his medical degree from UCCEM, Puerto Rico. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a fellowship in  Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Andres Bhatia, MD joined Gainesville Hematology Oncology Associates (GHOA) in 1993, prior to the practice merging with Florida Cancer Specialists in 2010. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has served as Chief of Staff at North Florida Regional Medical Center since 2011.

Dr. Bhatia is married to Jennifer and has three children. He enjoys Gator sports and jogging.
