State-of-the-Art Facility to Open in 2026
Fort Myers, Fla., November 13, 2025 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) this week broke ground for a state-of-the-art cancer center in Tradition, marking a significant step in bringing world-class cancer care to Port St. Lucie and surrounding communities. Scheduled to open in late 2026 at 10175 SW Innovation Way, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987, the statewide practice’s newest cancer center will encompass treatment for all forms of cancer and blood disorders, with specialized gynecologic oncology and radiation oncology services.

Our new facility builds upon our more than 40-year history to ensure patients have convenient access to comprehensive care close to home.”
The new building, with 21,000 square feet of space, will include 20 patient exam rooms and 46 infusion treatment chairs. Patients will have in-house access to specialty pharmacy and hematopathology laboratory services, as well as care coordination and access to the most advanced and promising treatments through participation in clinical trials.
FCS board-certified medical oncologists and hematologists Alpana Desai, MD and Judah Friedman, MD and board-certified gynecologic oncologist Antonella Leary, MD will provide care to patients at the FCS Tradition – Port St. Lucie Cancer Center, expected to open in late 2026.

Parties from CBRE in Tampa and South Florida Healthcare facilitated the lease for FCS, marking one of the largest medical office leases in Port St. Lucie.
