William V. Harrer III, MD

After beginning his career in the Northeast, Dr. Harrer practiced in Brunswick and Thomasville, GA, where he served as the Director of Medical Oncology and the Medical Director of Hospice at the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center until 2001. He relocated to Citrus County, FL in 2002 and currently practices in both Crystal River and Inverness, FL. Dr. Harrer was named Chief of Staff at Citrus Memorial Hospital and also President of the Citrus County Medical Society in 2002 and maintains both positions currently. He also provides physician leadership at Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, FL. Dr. Harrer is active in clinical research and, from 2001 to present day, he has served as Chief Investigator for Research Protocols at Nature Coast Clinical Research in Jacksonville, FL.
